An assistant inside TradingView vs a fixed-checklist grade for a chart from any platform

Looking for a TradingView AI Copilot alternative?

TradingView's AI Copilot (launched in April 2026 as the AI Chart Copilot browser extension) is now built into Supercharts. It sits in the right-hand panel, works with TradingView data, and can run a technical analysis, set alerts, pull news and earnings, and build watchlists for you. SnapPChart does one narrower job: it grades a chart screenshot from any platform against the same fixed checklist and tells you whether the setup is worth taking. This page lays out where each one fits and what SnapPChart does not do.

Quick answer

AI Copilot works inside TradingView with live data. SnapPChart grades a screenshot from any platform.

TradingView's AI Copilot is a paid add-on that lives in the Supercharts side panel, reads TradingView data, and can set alerts, scan watchlists, and pull news. SnapPChart grades one chart screenshot from TradingView, Webull, Robinhood, MT4/MT5, or a broker app against a fixed checklist, returning a grade and a take, wait, or skip call, with a trade plan and bear case when the setup qualifies.

TradingView AI Copilot vs SnapPChart

AI Copilot facts come only from TradingView's own blog and Help Center, read on 2026-10-06. Where TradingView does not state something, the row says so.

When to Use Each Tool

Use TradingView AI Copilot when...

  • You already chart on TradingView and pay for a plan
  • You want alerts, watchlists, and screeners handled by typing a request
  • You want news, earnings, and fundamentals next to the chart
  • You want indicators, drawings, or Pine Script set up for you

Use SnapPChart when...

  • Your charts live on Webull, Robinhood, MT4/MT5, or a broker app, not only TradingView
  • You want the same checklist scored the same way on every setup
  • You want a take, wait, or skip call before you enter
  • You want to try it on 2 free analyses without a TradingView plan

A worked workflow: using both on one trade

Plenty of traders will keep TradingView and still want a separate grade. The steps are generic on purpose: no ticker, price, or grade below is a real result.

  1. 1. Find the candidate on your platform

Use whatever surfaces names for you: AI Copilot's screener prompts or watchlist scan inside TradingView, a broker scanner, or your own list. SnapPChart has no part in this step.

  2. 2. Screenshot the timeframe you would trade

Keep the symbol, timeframe label, price scale, and volume visible, with the indicators you actually use, like VWAP, the 9 and 20 EMA, or MACD. A chart from TradingView, Webull, Robinhood, or MT5 works the same way.

  3. 3. Upload it for a grade

SnapPChart reads the trend, structure, EMAs, VWAP, MACD, and volume on the image and scores them against its checklist. It grades momentum continuations, long or short, and does not call reversals.

  4. 4. Read the call and the bear case

You get a grade and a take, wait, or skip call. When the setup qualifies you also get an entry, a structural stop, and targets. Take and wait calls also include the case against the trade; a skip names what is missing.

  5. 5. Set the alert where you trade

If the grade holds up, set your alert or order in TradingView or your broker. SnapPChart does not create alerts or place trades, so that part stays with your platform.

What SnapPChart Does, And What It Does Not

Works With Any Platform's Chart

AI Copilot works on the chart open in TradingView. SnapPChart takes a screenshot from any platform, so a Webull, Robinhood, MT4/MT5, or broker chart gets the same read as a TradingView one.

One Checklist, Every Time

Every upload is scored on the same rubric and returns a grade plus a take, wait, or skip call. Entry, stop, and targets appear only when the setup qualifies, along with a bear case.

No Live Data, Alerts, or Scanning

SnapPChart does not run inside TradingView, manage alerts, pull news, scan watchlists, or stream prices. It reads the image you upload. If you need those jobs done, AI Copilot or your platform does them.

TradingView AI Copilot Alternative FAQ

What is TradingView AI Copilot?

It is TradingView's AI assistant. TradingView's Help Center says it lives in the side panel of Supercharts, sees what is on your chart, and works with TradingView data: quotes, indicators, financials, news, earnings, economic calendars, and Screener data. It can answer questions and act on the chart, for example adding indicators, drawing levels, creating alerts and watchlists, and writing Pine Script. TradingView also says it can be wrong or use outdated information, and that it won't tell you what to buy or sell.

Is TradingView AI Copilot free?

The built-in version is not. Its September 2026 announcement says AI Copilot is a separate add-on for paid plans (Essential, Plus, Premium, and Ultimate), renews monthly, and includes a monthly usage limit. A plan trial counts. The earlier beta browser extension was launched free, and TradingView said it might limit daily usage to keep it that way. The add-on price was not listed on the TradingView pages checked on Oct 6, 2026.

What happened to the AI Chart Copilot browser extension?

TradingView launched the AI Chart Copilot as a public beta browser extension for Chrome and other Chromium browsers in April 2026, then brought it natively into the platform in September. Its blog says the extension is no longer actively supported and will eventually be discontinued.

Does TradingView AI Copilot work on mobile?

TradingView says AI Copilot is not available in its mobile apps yet; it runs on the web and in the desktop app. SnapPChart runs in a phone browser, so you can upload a screenshot taken on your phone.

Is SnapPChart a TradingView AI Copilot alternative?

For one job, yes: getting a structured read on a single chart before you trade. SnapPChart grades a screenshot against a fixed checklist and returns a grade and a take, wait, or skip call, plus entry, stop, targets, and a bear case when the setup qualifies. It is not an alternative for the rest of what AI Copilot does. It does not run inside TradingView, manage alerts, pull news, scan watchlists, write Pine Script, or use live data.

Can SnapPChart grade charts that are not from TradingView?

Yes. It reads the image, not a data feed, so a screenshot from Webull, Robinhood, MT4/MT5, thinkorswim, or a broker app works the same as a TradingView chart. Keep the timeframe, price scale, and volume visible.

What does SnapPChart read on the chart?

Trend and structure, the EMAs, VWAP, MACD, and volume that are visible on the screenshot. It grades momentum continuations, long or short, not reversals. Individual stocks are graded on the full A+ to F scale; futures, forex, crypto, index, and metals charts are capped at B.

Can I use TradingView AI Copilot and SnapPChart together?

Yes. Use AI Copilot or any scanner to find and mark up a chart, screenshot it, and upload it to SnapPChart for a grade. If the setup qualifies, set the alert or order back in TradingView or your broker.

What does SnapPChart cost?

Every new account gets 2 free lifetime analyses. The first shows the full result with entry, stop, targets, and the bear case; the second shows the grade and general analysis with the trade plan fields gated. Paid plans are Weekly $4.99 for 15 grades, Monthly $19.99 for 100 grades, and Yearly $199.99 for unlimited grades. Intro discounts and local-currency prices may differ on the live pricing page.
